Philly Man Charged In March Delaware County Murder
Delaware County authorities allege Rasul Ali Ryan shot and killed a Delco man inside an abandoned Clifton Heights property in March.

CLIFTON HEIGHTS, PA — An 18-year-old Philadelphia man is facing murder and related charged in connection with a shooting death that occurred in Delaware County back in March.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Rasul Ali Ryan, 18, of Philadelphia, was charged with first-degree murder and related charges in connection with a March 20 killing in Clifton Heights.
The DA's office alleges Ryan killed Jamal Aaron Denniston, 23, of Aldan, in an abandoned property at 17 Rockborne Road in Clifton Heights on March 20.

Police were called to the property for a report of a gunshot victim.
In the property, officers found Denniston dead, suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

The Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division and Clifton Heights Police Department started a joint investigation.
Based on interviews with multiple eyewitnesses, shortly after arriving at the property on the night of March 20 Ryan shot directly into Denniston's back using a semi-automatic handgun, the DA's office said.
Ryan is being held without bail and was remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
