Rash of Thefts From Cars Continues

Springfield Police once again investigating a number of thefts from cars.

Springfield Police are investigating a number of thefts from cars.

  • A resident from the 300 block of Kennerly Road reported Nov. 13 that sometime during the night someone forcibly entered her vehicle and stole a storage bag from the front seat while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home. The bag contained personal papers. Entry was gained by smashing the front passenger’s side window.
  • A resident from the 300 block of Kennerly Road reported Nov. 13 that sometime during the night someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a quantity of Septa tokens. The vehicle had also been rummaged through while it was parked in the driveway of the home.
  • A resident from the 300 block of Kennerly Road reported Nov. 13 that sometime during the night someone entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the interior while it was parked in the driveway of the home. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
  • A resident of Forest Road reported Nov. 16 that sometime during the night someone entered her vehicle and stole and quantity of cash and change while the vehicle was parked in the street in front of the home. The victim believes that she had locked the vehicle although there were no signs of forced entry.
