Santa Awaits You at Springfield Mall

Families are invited to meet Jolly Old St. Nick and purchase keepsake photos at Springfield Mall now through Christmas Eve.

Families throughout the region are invited to tell Santa their wish lists and smile for a professional photo now through Saturday, Dec. 24 at Santa’s Castle in Center Court at .

With a variety of high-quality photo packages to purchase, online photo opportunities, select evenings to include the family pet and the chance to pre-purchase photos online, families will enjoy a memorable, convenient, and value-added holiday tradition.

“Whether during a shopping trip or as a festive family outing, visiting Santa and capturing the moment with a professional photo completes the holiday experience,” said Springfield Mall Senior Marketing Director Maureen Weir. “Back because of popular demand, to enhance this experience and save time, families can buy photo packages in advance on Springfield Mall’s website, and in turn, use the Fast Pass to Santa photo line.”

To make it easy and help you save, Springfield Mall has several Santa photo packages to choose from that range from $21 to $45 and go beyond basic photo prints. In addition to wallet-sized, 3x5, and 5x7 photos; a Hi-Res photo on a CD; and keychains, photo packages include free $10 and $20 Shutterfly Cards and the option for a black and white photo.

The photo CD allows you to save images indefinitely, email to family and friends, post on Facebook, and make holiday cards, while the Shutterfly Cards  are convenient and easy to use throughout the year to print photos; create photo books or greeting cards; or personalize items such as mugs, puzzles, ornaments, playing cards, and wall decals.

Families are encouraged to take advantage of the Santa Fast Pass. Visit www.shopspringfieldmall.com to pre-purchase photo packages for access to the special Fast Pass to Santa photo line, instead of using the regular customer line.

Santa is available for photos at Springfield Mall during the following hours: 

Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Sunday, December 4, 11 and 18: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Saturday, December 24: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Santa takes breaks regularly to feed his reindeer and enjoy his favorite snack— cookies and milk! Santa’s break hours are:

Monday - Saturday, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. & 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.*

Sundays, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. & 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.*

*Santa photo line may be closed-off up to one half hour prior to breaks/closing to accommodate those already waiting in line.

Also, area pet owners are welcome to bring their furry or feathered friends on consecutive Monday evenings, now through Dec. 12, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. to “Pet Photos with Santa.” Visit the mall’s website for more information.
