Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 17 and Dec. 22.

Dec. 17 at 6:44 p.m.
Two male subjects entered the AT&T store 700 block West Sproul Road and stole three iPhones from a display area. A short time later two male subjects entered the AT&T store in the Springfield Mall and stole two Apple watches from display. Det. Devaney is investigating.
Dec. 17 at 8:07 p.m.
A resident of the 200 block East Springfield Road reported a burglary of her house which occurred sometime over the past few days. The resident returned home and found someone had entered through the basement and rummaged through several rooms of the house. Det. McCarthy is investigating.

Dec. 19 at 11:52 a.m.
Officers responded to the 400 block Glendale Circle for a report of an assault that occurred. Officers found a female victim who had been struck in the face and a juvenile male who had been choked. A criminal complaint was filed against Richard DiPietro, 31, of Broomall, and he was taken into custody by Marple Police on Dec. 20 and turned over to our department for arraignment.
Dec. 19 at 2:03 p.m.
A person working out at the LAFitness 800 block Baltimore Pike reported the lock was cut from his locker and a wallet removed. A short time later one of the victim’s credit cards was used at Best Buy in Springfield. Det. Nutley is investigating.
Dec. 20 at 1:25 p.m.
Officers responded to a residence on the 300 block East Springfield Road to serve a mental health warrant. The subject was observed outside his house and Officers attempted to take him into custody. The subject resisted and pulled a firearm from his waist and discharged a round towards an officer. An assisting officer engaged the subject and fired a round towards him, and the subject stopped resisting. He was taken into custody and taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Robert Feilke, 34, of Springfield was charged with Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and related offenses. He was arraigned at the hospital.
Dec. 21 at 3 p.m.
A 35-year-old Philadelphia woman was arrested and charged with Retail theft after Target 800 block Baltimore Pike security observed her select and conceal a quantity of merchandise. She fraudulently returned some of the merchandise in exchange for a gift card and tried to leave before being stopped. She was held for arraignment.
Dec. 22 at 1:10 a.m.
Officers were called to the 800 block East Woodland Avenue for a report of an unconscious subject in the driver seat of a stopped vehicle. Officers were able to secure the vehicle which had been in drive and found the driver to be intoxicated. The driver, a 39-year-old man from Media, was taken into custody and submitted to a blood test. He was later released to family.
Dec. 22 at 10:18 a.m.
A resident of the 600 block North Bishop Avenue reported sometime overnight someone entered his vehicle in the driveway and stole a pair of sunglasses.
Dec. 22 at 6:52 p.m.
Target security on the 800 block Baltimore Pike reported observing a female select over $570 worth of toys and go to the self-checkout register. She paid for only a small item but placed all the items in shopping bags. She then tried to leave not paying for the other items. A 29-year-old Philadelphia woman was taken into custody and charged with Retail Theft. She was held for arraignment at Springfield Court.
