Springfield Crime Blotter: Assault, Theft, Stolen Car
A South Carolina man was charged with simple assault and weapons crimes after police said he threatened people at a Springfield Home.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 11 and April 15.

April 11 at 10:02 p.m.
A male reported that while driving north on the 300 block of West Woodland Avenue, his vehicle was struck by a thrown egg.
April 11 at 10:02 p.m.
A juvenile male reported that while in the area of the ETR Middle School, Woodland Avenue, he was chased by two males who had exited a vehicle. They caught up to him on a street across from the school and assaulted him. When the males stopped and went back to their vehicle, they stole the victim’s bike. Det. Nutley is investigating.

April 13 at 9:03 a.m.
Robert Jackson, 47, of South Carolina, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and weapons offenses after an incident in which he threatened multiple people at a residence on the 600 block of East Springfield Road. He was held for arraignment and transported to Delaware County Prison.
April 14 at 6:02 a.m.
A resident of the 600 block of Cresson Lane reported his vehicle was stolen sometime overnight while it was parked on Yale Square. The vehicle was recovered in West Goshen Township on April 17 after a short pursuit. Two subjects were arrested. Det. Nutley is investigating.
April 14 at 3:57 p.m.
A 34-year-old female from Clifton Heights will be charged with Retail Theft after stealing over $70 worth of product.
April 15 at 9 a.m.
A patron at the Outback Steakhouse reported her wallet stolen from her purse sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on April 14. She was alerted after one of her credit cards was used at a Target Store. Det. Nutley is investigating.
