Over the week, a number of unlocked vehicles were entered overnight as they were parked in driveways or on the street. Items taken include coins, wallets, cash and credit cards. This occurred in the Maris Estates and Rolling Green areas of town. The investigation is ongoing, and we hope to have an arrest very soon. We would like to remind people to lock their vehicles and to call police when they observe someone suspicious on their property. We ask them to not confront people before calling police as that gives the suspect an opportunity to flee.
