Springfield Crime Blotter: Burglary, DUI, Theft, More
Police said the Gulf Gas Station on the 400 block of Baltimore Pike was burglarized last week. See details on this crime and others here.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Oct. 20 and Oct. 22.

Oct. 20 at 6:36 a.m.
Officers responded to the Gulf Gas Station, 400 block Baltimore Pike, for a reported burglary that occurred. They located a shattered entrance door and found the business had been entered. Investigation showed that two subjects shattered the glass door, entered the store and stole cash and cigarettes. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Oct. 20 at 2:41 p.m.
A vehicle stop was conducted on the 100 block Baltimore Pike on a vehicle with several equipment violations. Contact was made with the driver, and it was found that he had smoked a marijuana cigarette and was extremely lethargic. He was placed in custody for DUI and submitted to a blood test. He was later released to family.

Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.
A 23-year-old male from Clifton Heights will be charged with Disorderly Conduct and traffic offenses after he was observed yelling profanities from his vehicle at motorists and pedestrians in the area of Saxer Avenue and Powell Road during a Halloween parade.
Oct. 21 at 10:29 a.m.
The director of First Presbyterian Church Summit Road reported damage to a railing on the property. He suspected people riding skateboards on the property the prior evening. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Oct. 22 at 10:06 p.m.
While on patrol in the area of Springfield High School, officers came upon a juvenile male who had just been struck in the face by an unknown projectile. Witnesses said the projectile had come from a passing vehicle on Rolling Road. The male was treated by medical personnel. Det. Devaney is investigating.
Oct. 22 at 10:35 p.m.
Two occupied vehicles were observed pulling into Walsh Park during prohibited hours. Six males were inside the vehicles, and there was a quantity of alcoholic beverages and marijuana found inside the vehicles. All were turned over to family, and charges will be filed.
