Springfield Crime Blotter: Burglary, PFA Violation, More
Someone got inside a home on the 200 block South Norwinden Drive and stole Playstation game consoles and a wallet from the kitchen.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Springfield Police released their weekly crime blotter, and we have the details below.
The blotter covers incidents that occurred between Sept. 9 and Sept. 15.

Sept. 9 at 7:37 a.m.
A resident of the 200 block South Norwinden Drive reported that sometime overnight someone entered the house and stole Playstation game consoles and a wallet from the kitchen. Officers responded and spoke to a neighbor who had located several credit cards in a yard of a neighboring property. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Sept. 10 at 12:08 p.m.
Officers responded to the Days Inn for a customer dispute involving tenants who did not check out when it was time. Officers made contact with two subjects inside a room and found narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the room. Kristine Beese, 37, of Clifton Heights, and Michael Millay, 20, of Drexel Hill were arrested, charged with drug offenses and held for arraignment.

Sept. 11 at 2:26 p.m.
Sgt. Welsh observed a male subject riding a bicycle in the lot of the Parkway Inn holding a cell phone in his hand and being chased by a female. Investigation showed that the female had an active PFA against the male. The male showed up at the inn, entered her room and stole her phone. George Greller, 41, of Glenolden, was taken into custody, charged with violating an active PFA.
Sept. 12 at 6:35 p.m.
Eva Sallas-Mensah, 19, of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with Retail Theft after being observed at Target at the mall stealing over $190 worth of clothing. She was held for arraignment.
Sept. 12 at 8:20 p.m.
A vehicle parked in front of the Panera Bread 1000 block Baltimore Pike between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. had its rear window smashed, and a bag was taken from inside which contained cash and credit cards. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
Sept. 15 at 4:28 p.m.
Target at the mall security observed a male stealing numerous items and making a fraudulent return of merchandise totally over $120 and took him into custody. Christopher Macatee, 34, of Philadelphia, was found to have drugs and drug paraphernalia in his possession and was charged with Retail Theft and drug offenses. He was held for arraignment.
