SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield released their most recent crime blotter, and we have the details here.

The blotter covers incidents that occurred in the township between Sept. 2 and Sept. 8.

Sept. 2 at 10:36 a.m.
A resident of the 600 block Sherman Road reported sometime overnight someone rummaged through his unlocked vehicle parked on the street and stole several items from a purse inside.

Sept. 3 at 8:58 a.m.
A resident of the 1000 block of North Avenue reported sometime overnight someone entered her unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway and stole a purse.

Sept. 3 at 2:32 p.m.
Officers were called to the Days Inn 600 block Baltimore Pike to investigate a suspicious female who may be intoxicated and soliciting sex. Officers made contact with the female and found her to be under the influence of narcotics. Found inside her room was a quantity of suspected heroin. The female was identified as Nicole Davies, 30, of Upper Darby, and taken into custody. She was found to have active arrest warrants out of Delaware County and was turned over to Constables.

Sept. 4 at 4:15 p.m.
Sharon Connolly 35, of Aston, was arrested and charged with retail theft after being observed at Target at the mall stealing over $27 worth of cosmetics. She was found to be intoxicated and provided false ID. She was held for arraignment.

Sept. 5 at 8:37 p.m.
Officers recovered a stolen Chevrolet Cavalier vehicle reported out of Collingdale. The vehicle was found parked and unoccupied in the far rear of the Springfield Mall lot. Collingdale PD took custody of the vehicle.

Sept. 6 at 7:50 a.m.
A resident of the 900 block Providence Road reported a Fuji mountain bike stolen from the rear of his property sometime overnight.

Sept. 6 at 12:45 p.m.
A resident of the 300 block East Leamy Avenue reported observing motion sensor lights turn on at 12:50 a.m. and upon looking outside noticed a subject walking down the driveway. The resident then noticed her vehicle parked in the driveway had been rummaged, and a small amount of coins missing.

Sept. 8 at 1:05 a.m.
A 16-year-old male from Springfield was stopped in the area of Brock Road and Alford Road after setting a car alarm off in the area. He was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. The male was charged with underage drinking and curfew.
