Springfield Crime Blotter: Drugs, Guns, Public Drunkenness

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Feb. 1 and Feb. 8.

Feb. 1 at 8:03 p.m.
While assisting a motorist, Ofc. Lord found a quantity of marijuana and pills inside the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia. Drug charges are pending against the 20-year-old male from Holmes.

Feb. 5 at 5:09 p.m.
While attempting to serve a juvenile arrest warrant on the 200 block of School Lane, Officers located the subject entering a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped, and the juvenile male from Springfield was taken into custody. Officers also recovered a firearm and a loaded magazine. Charges for weapons offenses will be filed, and the male was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Fen. 6 at 5:54 p.m.
A 23-year-old female from Drexel Hill was arrested for Public Drunkenness after being found intoxicated in the lobby of the Wine and Spirits Store 100 block of Baltimore Pike. She was released to family.

Feb. 7 at 12:43 a.m.
A vehicle stop for equipment violations led to a 32-year-old female driver from Primos being found to have an arrest warrant out of Delaware County. The female was taken into custody and found to possess a quantity of heroin and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Delaware County Prison, and drug charges will be filed.

Feb. 8 at 3 a.m.
A male riding a bike along the 900 block of Baltimore Pike was stopped for an equipment violation. The 23-year-old male from Media was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Upper Chichester. The male was taken into custody and turned over to Upper Chichester Police.
