SPRINGFIELD, PA — Springfield Police issued their most recent crime blotter, and we have the details here.
The blotter covers incidents that occurred between Nov. 11 and Nov. 17.

Nov. 11 at 11:17 a.m.
Officers investigated a crash at the intersection of State Road and Memorial Park Drive in which a vehicle entered the highway and caused a crash. They found the driver of the entering vehicle to be highly intoxicated. The driver, a 28-year-old female from Springfield, needed medical attention and was transported to a hospital. She will be charged with DUI and traffic offenses
Nov. 11 at 2:59 p.m.
Officers were called to the area of State Road and Collins Drive to investigate a road rage incident involving a driver who threw a hot liquid at the driver of another vehicle. This conduct occurred after a merging issue that took place a short distance away. An adult from Philadelphia will be charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Nov. 12 at 8:01 a.m.
Asplundh Tree Service reported batteries to their tree cutting equipment were stolen sometime overnight from the parking lot at Springfield Mall where the equipment had been stored.
Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.
While on patrol, Ofc. Graff observed suspicious activity in the parking lot of the Giant 900 block Baltimore Pike involving two men. He followed the men one of which entered a U-Haul truck and drove west on Baltimore Pike. The vehicle was stopped for traffic violations, and the driver was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected heroin as well as stolen merchandise from Giant valued at over $360. The driver was identified as Michael Trznadel, 33, of Bluebell, PA. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment.
Nov. 15 at 6:16 p.m.
Three vehicles parked in the Porch/Lamb Tavern parking lot 800 block West Springfield Road were broken into. Purses, electronics and cash were taken from inside the vehicles.
Nov. 17 at 4:55 a.m.
A 35-year-old Chester man was arrested and charged with Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct after being involved in a physical altercation with a female inside the Springfield Diner 700 block Baltimore Pike. He was held until he was released to family the next morning.
Nov. 17 at 7:31 p.m.
Officers were called to investigate a driver asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped on Midland Road at Congress Avenue. The vehicle drove away before police arrived, however, shortly after police spotted the vehicle driving the wrong way on Windsor Circle near Springfield Road. Officers were able stop the vehicle and believed the driver to be experiencing a possible overdose. A paramedic was dispatched, and the driver transported to a hospital for treatment. It was also learned that the driver, a 50-year-old male from Exton, had an active arrest warrant from Chester County. He will be charged with DUI and traffic offenses.
