Springfield Crime Blotter: DUI, Drugs, Theft, Vandalism, More
A Maryland man and Delaware woman are accused of heroin possession, as well as stealing hundreds of dollars of baby formula, police said.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 27 and Jan. 1.

Dec. 27 at 3:21 p.m.
Steven Robbins, 33, of Trenton, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with Retail Theft after Macy’s security at the mall reported they observed him steal over $2,500 worth of clothing and jewelry. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment.
Dec. 28 at 3:01 p.m.
A victim reported while shopping inside Target on the 800 block of Baltimore Pike someone stole an iPad and Nintendo game console from her parked vehicle.

Dec. 30 at 5:31 p.m.
A 32-year-old female from Paterson, New Jersey was taken into custody after she reportedly stole over $1,100 worth of merchandise from Macy’s at the mall. She was processed and released. Charges for Retail Theft will be filed.
Dec. 30 at 9:41 p.m.
Someone threw eggs at the windows of Rite Aid on Saxer Avenue a short time prior to the call.
Dec. 30 at 10:25 p.m.
While on patrol, Ofc. Fiore observed a vehicle stopped at a green signal on Baltimore Pike at Leamy Avenue. The driver, a 36-year-old male from Philadelphia, was found to be under the influence of drugs. He was taken into custody and refused a blood test. He was later released to family, and charges for DUI and traffic offenses will be filed.
Dec. 31 at 3:55 a.m.
Officers responded to the Reedman Toll Dodge dealership, 700 block of Baltimore Pike, for an alarm activation. While checking the business, they located a smashed-out door leading to an office inside. The office had been rummaged. Further investigation revealed two vehicles were missing from the lot. Sgt. J. DiTrolio is investigating.
Dec. 31 at 11:37 a.m.
Officers went to Macy’s at the mall to investigate a female who was unconscious at the make-up counter. Upon arrival of police, the female had made it outside where she was stopped and identified. She was found to be under the influence of a narcotic and was given medical attention. The 34-year-old female from Clifton Heights will be charged with Public Drunkenness.
Dec. 31 at 12:15 p.m.
Bradley Horton, 27, of Elkton, Maryland, and Kala Sutton, 32, of Newark, Delaware, were both arrested at the Giant, 700 block of West Sproul Road, after it was reported they had stolen close to $200 worth of baby formula. It was also reported the same two had stolen over $230 worth of baby formula in November 2021. Both were found to possess a quantity of heroin and drug paraphernalia. They were charged with Retail Theft and Drug Offenses and held for arraignment.
Jan. 1 at 10:55 a.m.
An employee from Giant, 700 block of West Sproul Road, reported that sometime overnight someone removed the catalytic converter from her vehicle which was parked in the lot.
