SPRINGFIELD, PA — Springfield Township Police issued their weekly crime blotter, and we have the details here.
The blotter covers incidents that occurred between July 22 and July 27.

July 22, 9:57 a.m.
McVeigh Auto Service, 201 Baltimore Pike, reported a theft. A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle being serviced. The theft is under investigation.
July 24, 12:48 p.m.
Party City, 601 Baltimore Pike, reported a retail theft. Three females were observed concealing merchandise while shopping in the store. One of the suspects, Arlena Porter-Robinson, 29, of Philadelphia, left the store with a duffle bag full of merchandise and put the items in a parked car. She then returned to the store. Police detained the three suspects and placed Porter-Robinson under arrest. The other females were identified and released. Porter-Robinson was charged with Retail Theft. Det. McCarthy is handling the case.

July 24, 2:12 p.m.
Target, 857 Baltimore Pike, reported a retail theft. Tracey Schindler, 29, was observed placing boxes of Nicorette gum and clothing in a bag and attempting to leave the store without making payment. She was stopped by security and turned over to police. The value of the theft was $348. Schindler was charged with Retail Theft and also had an active warrant out of Bucks County for a prior offense. Det. McCarthy is handling the case.
July 24, 5:10 p.m.
Target, 1200 Baltimore Pike, reported a retail theft. Krisjian Hood, 24, of Chester, was observed concealing merchandise in a personal shopping bag. She went through the self-checkout paying for some of the items in her cart, but not the bagged items. Hood was detained by security and turned over to police. She was issued a citation for Retail Theft and released.
July 24, 6:36 p.m.
Target, 1200 Baltimore Pike, reported a retail theft. Security observed a 14-year-old female from Sharon Hill conceal jewelry items in a backpack and attempt to leave the store without rendering payment. The value of the theft was $263. She was turned over to police and later released to her mother. She will be charged with Retail Theft. Det. McNeely is handling the case.
July 25, 9:05 p.m.
The Wine and Spirit Shop, 149 Baltimore Pike, reported a prior theft. A female shopper was observed on security cameras concealing liquor bottles under her clothing and leaving the store without rendering payment. A description was obtained from the video. Det. McNeely is investigating.
July 25, 8:32 p.m.
A resident from the 400 block of Pinecrest Road reported finding his home egged from the previous evening. The home has security cameras showing a group walking around the neighborhood carrying flashlights. No suspects have been identified.
July 27, 5:51 p.m.
Target, 1200 Baltimore Pike, reported a retail theft. Aisha Alvi, 34, of Drexel Hill, was observed concealing jewelry and makeup in a personal bag. She proceeded through the self-checkout and paid for some of the items, but not the items in the bag. She was detained by security and turned over to the police. Alvi was issued a citation for Retail Theft and released.
The Police Department would like to recognize Sgt. Andrew McKinney for completing training through the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command. The course is an intensive 10-week program that prepares law enforcement managers for senior positions by uniquely combining academic principles with practical applications. Sgt. McKinney completed the program on June 21 and received straight As.
