Springfield Crime Blotter: Robbery, Thefts
Police said a man's cash, car keys, and a cell phone were stolen in a gunpoint robbery at the Springfield Mall Thursday last week.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 15 and Nov. 18.

Nov. 15 at 2:37 p.m.
A customer reported that while shopping inside the Giant store, 700 block of West Sproul Road, her purse was stolen from her shopping cart.
Nov. 16 at 1:47 p.m.
A shopper reported that while inside the Walgreen’s store, unit of block Baltimore Pike, someone stole her wallet from her purse.

Nov. 18 at 7:52 p.m.
Officers were called to the Springfield Mall for a report of a robbery that occurred. The victim reported he was scheduled to meet another in the parking lot area. He said that when the meet occurred inside his vehicle, the subject threatened him with a gun and stole cash, car keys, and a cell phone from him. The male then fled on foot. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
