Springfield Crime Blotter: Theft From ATM, Strong Arm Theft, More
Police said a man who took a watch from a Springfield Mall store threatened an employee with a firearm when he was confronted. Details here.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Feb. 22 and Feb. 26.

Feb. 22 at 8:45 a.m.
A resident of the 100 block of Greenhill Road reported sometime overnight someone entered his parked vehicle and removed an Apple product from inside.
Feb. 25 at 5:59 a.m.
Employees from Springfield Diner, 700 block of Baltimore Pike, reported that sometime overnight someone pried the entrance door to the building and entered. While inside, the actor broke open an ATM and removed a quantity of cash. Det. Nutley is investigating.

Feb. 25 at 7:43 p.m.
An employee from Zumiez at the mall reported a male subject stole a watch from display and left the store. An employee attempted to stop the subject and was threatened with a firearm by the subject. The subject fled the mall through the rear lot. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
Feb. 26 at 6:45 p.m.
A resident of the 200 block of Hillview Drive reported two vehicles parked in the driveway were damaged by a key. Sgt. J. DiTrolio is investigating.
Feb. 26 at 9:12 p.m.
CVS, 300 block of Baltimore Pike, reported three subjects inside the store loading shopping bags with merchandise. All three left the store without paying. Responding officers located the three suspects walking on the 400 block of Baltimore Pike and took all three into custody. Recovered merchandise totaled over $1,250. Two males from Philadelphia and a female from Delaware will be charged with Retail Theft.
