SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued the weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between March 8 and March 13.

March 8 at 12:37 p.m.
Officers observed a male subject in the area of the 400 block of Baltimore Pike stumbling and walking into traffic. He was stopped and found to be under the influence of a narcotic and in possession of a quantity of heroin. David Micola 26, of Springfield, was taken into custody and charged with drug offenses. He was held for arraignment and transported to Delaware County Prison.
March 12 at 4:05 p.m.
Macy’s security reported they had stopped a male after watching him conceal six jackets and attempt to leave the store without paying. Officers took the male into custody and found him to have two active arrest warrants from Philadelphia. Marvin Harrison, 42, of Philadelphia, was charged with Retail Theft. He was turned over to Philadelphia Sheriffs.

March 13 at 6:39 p.m.
A 66-year-old from Drexel Hill was taken into custody at the Giant Store, 900 block of Baltimore Pike, after being found intoxicated inside the store. Witnesses had observed him at the shopping center across the street earlier laying on a bench. He was turned over to family, and charges for Public Drunkenness will be filed.
