SPRINGFIELD, PA — The newest crime blotter from Springfield Police is out, and we have the details.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between July 19 and July 25.

July 19 at 7:32 a.m.
A male subject entered the Walgreens, unit block of Baltimore Pike, and stole a blood pressure monitor and a food sensitivity kit. The male left the store and fled the area on foot. Det. McCarthy is investigating.

July 19 at 12:46 p.m.
A resident of the 100 block of Cascade Road reported a bicycle was removed from the front area of his property sometime overnight. The bike had 26-inch tires and was gray with a matte finish.

July 21 at 9:24 a.m.
Officers responded to the Wawa, 100 block of Saxer Avenue, for a report of a male sleeping inside a vehicle. The officers made contact with a 39-year-old male from Springfield who was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released to family. A charge of Public Drunkenness will be filed.

July 22 at 2:03 p.m.
A resident of the 600 block of Sherman Road reported money was stolen from the inside of her vehicle, which had been parked in the driveway sometime overnight.

July 22 at 2:58 p.m.
While on patrol, Ofc. Bergman made contact with a male on the 100 block of Baltimore Pike and observed him to have what appeared to be stolen merchandise from Best Buy. The male attempted to run away but was quickly stopped. It was learned that he had stolen an electric razor and electric toothbrush from Best Buy earlier in the day. The merchandise was recovered and turned over to Best Buy. The male, 28, of Hatfield, was taken into custody for investigation. He was later released with charges pending. He was also suspected in the earlier Walgreen theft.

July 24 at 2:44 a.m.
Officers responded to the 200 block of North State Road for a report of a vehicle stopped and blocking traffic in the area. They found the driver unconscious, and the vehicle was running. The driver, 35, of Drexel Hill, was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and submitted to a blood test. He was later released to family, and charges for DUI and traffic offenses are pending.

July 24 at 9:06 a.m.
A resident of the 400 block of Colonial Park Drive reported sometime overnight July 21 to July 22 someone entered her vehicle parked in the driveway and removed a phone charger.

July 25 at 2:36 p.m.
Employees of Giant, 700 block of West Sproul Road, reported two females were stopped for stealing close to $800 worth of merchandise. Officers responded and identified the two females as Diana Miller, 45, of Williamstown, NJ and Alyssa Elentrio, 30, of Paulsboro, NJ. Both females had been observed concealing hair, vitamin, and allergy products in their purses and leaving the store. The females were taken into custody, charged with Retail Theft, and held for arraignment. During the investigation it was learned the same two females had earlier stolen close to $1000 at the Target Springfield Mall. That recovered merchandise was turned over to Target.
