SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield issued their newest crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Feb. 3 and Feb. 8.

Feb. 3 at 3:17 p.m.
Employees at Gamestop in the Mall reported that while they walked into the back room a customer jumped over the service counter and stole a Nintendo Switch gaming system. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Feb. 4 at 8:07 p.m.
Victoria’s Secret at the mall reported two female subjects stole over $3,000 worth of leggings from display by placing them in shopping bags and running out of the store.

Feb. 6 at 8:54 a.m.
A female tenant at the Days Inn, 600 block Baltimore Pike, reported an unknown person smashed the front window pane of the room at which she was staying at 6:19 a.m. Video surveillance showed an unknown male smashing the window before fleeing the area. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
Feb. 6 at 8:38 p.m.
Target security, 800 block Baltimore Pike, reported a male subject who had selected a kitchen appliance and replaced the price sticker with a much lower cost sticker. The male then paid the reduced price for the more expensive item. Target said this male was responsible for similar thefts at other Target stores. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Feb. 7 at 3:45 p.m.
A person who had parked his work truck in the municipal lot on Saxer Avenue reported the side door lock had been punched out and numerous tools taken from inside.
Feb. 7 at 8:38 p.m.
Target security, 800 block Baltimore Pike, reported a male subject had made a fraudulent return of merchandise earlier in the day and then went to the mall Target and attempted to steal the same type merchandise but was unsuccessful. He later returned and selected merchandise but changed the price to reflect a much lower price. He went to self-checkout and paid the lower price. Security attempted to stop the male, but he fled in a vehicle. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Feb. 8 at 9:19 p.m.
Officers responded to the Urban Air, 1200 block East Woodland Avenue, to investigate a large fight that occurred inside. Upon arrival one group had left the area. Officers learned that several adults accompanied by children who were using the zip line had become upset because a child and adult cut in front of others waiting in line. Some of the adults confronted the line cutters, and a physical confrontation took place which involved a group of people attacking two victims. The group left the building after employees contacted police. Charges are pending further investigation.
