SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield issued their weekly crime blotter, and we have the details below.
Incidents included in the blotter occurred between Jan. 20 and Jan. 26.
Jan. 20 at 3:47 p.m.
A diner who had been inside the Springfield Diner for a couple hours found a window to her vehicle parked in the rear had been smashed and a bag removed from inside.

Jan. 20 at 4:39 p.m.
A 27-yearr-old from man Philadelphia was arrested and charged with Retail Theft after Target at the mall security observed him select numerous cosmetics and place them in a plastic storage bin. He then attempted to walk out of the store carrying the bin and failing to pay for over $300 worth of items. He was held for arraignment.
Jan. 22 at 5:59 p.m.
Target at the mall security reported they observed a male try to leave the store failing to pay for a rug and a bed pillows worth over $250. They stopped the male who was identified as a 43-year-old man Brookhaven. He was arrested and charged with Retail Theft. He was held for arraignment at Springfield Court.

Jan. 23 at 12:30 p.m.
Two females were observed by security at the Target in the mall selecting numerous items of clothing and jewelry. They both went to the sporting goods department and concealed the items in plastic bags and a backpack they also stole. They attempted to walk into the mall not paying for the items and were stopped and found to have close to $600 worth of merchandise. A 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, both from Philadelphia, were arrested and charged with Retail Theft. They were later arraigned at Springfield Court.
Jan. 24 at 7:10 a.m.
A resident of the 300 block Holt Lane reported his truck parked on the street had been entered sometime overnight and a quantity of coins was missing from inside.
Jan. 26 at 11:08 p.m.
A female patron a Tavola’s Restaurant 400 block West Sproul Road was reported to be acting disorderly in the parking lot. Officers responded and found the female yelling and cursing in the lot. She was found to be highly intoxicated and taken into custody. A 33-year-old woman from Wilmington, Delaware was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness.
