Springfield Crime Blotter: Vandalism, Theft, DUI, more
Police said a New Jersey woman and a Springfield man were arrested after she was allegedly yelling at people while on methamphetamine.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
The most recent blotter includes incidents that occurred between Oct. 16 and Oct. 20.

Oct. 16 at 8:02 a.m.
A resident of the unit block Wayne Avenue reported that sometime overnight someone stole loose change and old cell phones from the center console of her vehicle parked on the street.
Oct. 16 at 8:30 a.m.
A resident of the unit block Midland Road reported she placed her purse on the ground as she loaded her children into her vehicle. She forgot the purse and drove away from the area. When she returned she found the purse was missing.

Oct. 16 at 8:50 a.m.
A resident of the unit block Congress Avenue reported sometime overnight someone removed tools and electronics from his unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway.
Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.
Officers responded to the area of Best Buy/Days Inn, 600 block Baltimore Pike, to investigate a female yelling at customers outside. Officers located the female who was intoxicated on methamphetamine which lead to an investigation of her boyfriend who was standing outside a room at the Inn. The room contained drugs and drug paraphernalia and was in the possession of the male. Joslyn Riviera, 23, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with Public Drunkenness and Patrick Porter, 28, of Springfield was arrested and charged with Drug Possession.
Oct. 16 at 6:04 p.m.
Two unlocked vehicles on the unit block Congress Avenue were entered and loose change stolen sometime overnight.
Oct. 18 at 3:51 p.m.
Officers investigated an unconscious driver on the 200 block North State Road. The driver, a 23-year-old man from Drexel Hill, was found to be intoxicated on marijuana and Xanax pills and was taken into custody. He submitted to a blood test and will be charged with DUI and Drug Possession.
Oct. 19 at 1:43 a.m.
While on patrol on the 400 block Baltimore Pike, Officer Christy received a LPR notification and observed a vehicle committing several vehicle code and equipment violations. The driver, a 72-year-old man from Philadelphia, was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. He submitted to a blood test and will charged with DUI.
Oct. 20 at 8:11 p.m.
A resident of the 300 block South Rolling Road reported several inflatable lawn decorations were damaged between sometime between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Det. McNeely is investigating.
