Springfield Police Blotter: Burglary, Drugs, Theft

Police said a home on the 600 block of Beatty Road was broken into last week and had jewelry stolen from inside it. See full details here.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Jan.2 5 and Jan. 29.

Jan. 25 at 11:57 a.m.
Officers were called to a residence on the 600 block of Beatty Road to investigate a burglary. They found that the house had been entered, a room had been rummaged, and several pieces of jewelry taken. Det. McNeely is investigating.

Jan. 28 at 1:55 p.m.
A resident of the unit block of West Avenue reported sometime around Jan. 24 someone cut out the catalytic converter from his Hyundai vehicle parked on the street.

Jan. 29 at 1:43 p.m.
Daniel Hogan, 30, Gloucester City, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with drug possession after being found in possession of a quantity of cocaine during a car stop. The vehicle was stopped because of displaying an improper registration plate.
