SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The most recent Springfield Police crime blotter is out, and the details are here.

The blotter covers incidents that occurred in the township between May 19 and May 26.

May 19 at 10:19 a.m.
Both Five Below Stores 400 block South State Road and 900 block Baltimore Pike reported the same male entered their stores and took a quantity of cell phone accessories. He was observed entering a vehicle and leaving the area. Det. McNeely is investigating.

May 19 at 1:59 p.m.
Officers responded to the 300 block North Rolling Road to investigate a male subject staggering along the sidewalk. They located a 37-year-old male from Springfield who had recently ingested heroin. He was taken into custody and charged with Public Drunkenness and released later to a friend.

May 22 at 7:05 a.m.
A resident of the 600 block Vernon Road reported someone had stolen statue and flower pot from the property sometime overnight. Det. McNeely is investigating.

May 22 at 7:35 p.m.
Macy's at the mall called to report the theft of clothing by a female who then ran through the mall and out the front entrance. Officers responded to the area, and Ofc. Kingsbury located the female near Swarthmore Ave. Mahya Woodton, 19, of Sharon Hill, was identified as the offender and taken into custody for stealing over $260 worth of merchandise. She was processed and will be charged with Retail Theft.

May 23 at 4:53 a.m.
Officers investigated a pedestrian on the 600 block Baltimore Pike. Christopher Belton, 30, of Lansdowne, was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Philadelphia for robbery. He was taken into custody and held for Philadelphia Police.

May 23 at 9:15 a.m.
A resident of the 300 block Ballymore Road reported graffiti on the garage door in the rear alley of the property believed to have been done by a group of male juveniles. Det. Nutley is investigating.

May 23 at 1:33 p.m.
Two females were observed by Giant 700 block West Sproul Roademployees stealing about $150 worth of diapers and entering a vehicle in the parking lot. Det. McNeely is investigating.

May 23 at 6:02 p.m.
Officers responded to Target at the mall to investigate a report that a male had just stolen a vacuum cleaner and went into the mall. Responding officers located the male near the food court and brought him to Target where he was identified as Justin Boc, 33, from New Castle, Delaware. Boc was also implicated in the theft of electronics at the Target on the 800 block Baltimore Pike which occurred earlier in the day. Boc was taken into custody. Boc was found to have an active arrest warrant for Retail Theft in Philadelphia, and he was also found to have recently shoplifted in Upper Darby Township. He was held for arraignment.

May 26 at 4:13 p.m.
A resident reported that while his son was at the Williams Park earlier with friends his So Cal Flyer bicycle was stolen by a male who was in the park with other males and a female. The male fled towards Saxer Avenue with the bike. Det. Devaney is investigating.
