Springfield Police Join St Paddy's DUI Crackdown
Sunday, March 17 is St. Patrick's Day, and that means many will be drinking. Police will be out in force cracking down on potential DUI.
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Springfield Township are joining up with several other police departments who make up the Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce to crack down on DUI over St. Patrick's Day weekend.
The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce — which is made up of Haverford, Marple, Newtown, Radnor, Springfield and Upper Darby township police departments — will be conducting a DUI checkpoints this weekend within its jurisdiction.
The taskforce has been in operation since September 2009.
