Where Springfield Ranks in County SAT Scores

Patch shows you where Springfield High School ranked against the best and worst public schools in Delco.

According to data released by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Springfield School District ranks sixth out of the 15 school district in Delaware County for average SAT scores.

Accord to the Department of Education’s data, Springfield students scored an average combined score of 1481 points on the 2011 SATs. 

Springfield students scored an average of 490 on the verbal section, 511 on the math section and 480 on the writing section.

Radnor High School topped the list with an average combined score of 1720, Chester High School was the lowest scoring school with a combined average score of 1053.

Springfield High School students also ranked number six across the board with their average verbal, math and writing scores.

Once again, Radnor topped all three categories and Chester High School scored the lowest.
