Springfield Twp. Hosting Heroin Epidemic Discussion May 22
Hear from law enforcement, a recovery specialist, people in recovery, and people affected by heroin addiction.

SPRINGFIELD, PA – Springfield Township officials are inviting the public to a community discussion on a topic that is plaguing not only Springfield, but the rest of the county, state, and country. A Heroin epidemic discussion will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 22 at the township building.
Township Board of Commissioners President Jeff Rudolph will moderate the discussion, which will include various speakers who have dealt with the heroin epidemic in different aspects.
Speakers include police drug task force members, addiction recovery specialist Sean Rodgers, and those who have personally battled addiction and those who have witnessed addiction in friends and family.

The discussion will also cover legislative measure being taken to address the epidemic and a question and answer session.
The Springfield Township Building is located at 50 Powell Road, Springfield.
