Stolen Vehicle, Thefts, Disorderly Conduct: Springfield Crime Blotter
Police said a Hyundai was stolen from a home on the 500 block of Andrew Road last week. See details on this and more incidents here.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Springfield Township Police released their newest crime blotter recently.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between March 14 and March 19.

March 14 at 3:37 p.m.
A Mitsubishi vehicle had its catalytic converter stolen as it was parked on the lower level of the parking garage at the Springfield Hospital between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
March 17 at 7:19 a.m.
A resident of the 500 block of Andrew Road reported his Hyundai vehicle was stolen from his driveway sometime overnight. At about 11:46 a.m., the vehicle was located parked and unoccupied in the Borough of Morton. The ignition was found to be damaged.

March 17 at 10:30 a.m.
Officers responded to the Giant Store, 700 block of West Sproul Road, for a report that a male attempted to push a shopping cart full of merchandise out of the store failing to pay for the merchandise. The male then fled on foot towards State Road. Officers located the male on State Road and found he also had an arrest warrant out of Delaware County for a probation violation. The 53-year-old from Philadelphia was taken into custody and turned over to Delaware County Sheriffs. Charges for Retail Theft will be filed.
March 18 at 2:50 p.m.
A 28-year-old from Clifton Heights woman was arrested and charged with Retail Theft after being observed by employees at Giant 700 block of West Sproul Road, stealing over $190 worth of food and other products. She was held for arraignment.
March 18 at 4:09 p.m.
A 37-year-old female from Philadelphia will be charged with Disorderly Conduct after an incident at the Urban Air, 1200 block of East Woodland Avenue, in which she threatened to fight staff and threw food on the floor.
March 19 at 12:44 p.m.
A blue colored Trek mountain bike was stolen from the bike rack at ETR Middle School. Woodland Avenue, sometime between March 18 and March 19.
March 19 at 2 p.m.
An 81-year-old male from Folsom will be charged with Retail Theft after he was observed by Macy’s security at the mall stealing over $135 worth of underwear from the store. He was taken into custody and released.
March 19 at 6:28 p.m.
Shania Kubach, 19, and Yasmene Sanders, 21, both from Philadelphia, were arrested and charged with Retail Theft after being observed by Macy’s security at the mall stealing $720 worth of jewelry from the store. Both were taken into custody and held for arraignment.
