Theft, DUI, Underage Drinking, More: Springfield Crime Blotter

A Drexel Hill man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after police said he crashed a vehicle into another vehicle Sunday night.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 17 and April 23.

April 17 at 7:08 p.m.
A resident of the 200 block of Maple Street reported several items were stolen from a table on the front patio sometime during the day.

April 17 at 9:46 p.m.
Target security reported two males stole numerous gaming consoles from a display case and fled the store and the area in a vehicle. Det. Cutcliff is investigating.

April 19 at 7:25 a.m.
A resident of the 300 block of Wyndmoor Road reported her fence painted with graffiti sometime overnight.

April 19 at 8:52 a.m.
A resident of the 200 block of East Leamy Avenue reported her parked vehicle was scratched while it was parked on the street. This was the second incident in the past few months.

April 20 at 1:26 p.m.
A female was arrested for stealing a bottle of wine from the Giant Store 900 block of Baltimore Pike. The 43-year-old female from Philadelphia was also found to have an arrest warrant for a probation violation from Delaware County. She was taken into custody and turned over to Delaware County Sheriffs.

April 21, at 10:15 p.m.
Several juveniles from Springfield will be charged with Underage Drinking after being found on the unit block of Congress Avenue having consumed an alcoholic beverage. They were turned over to family.

April 23 at 9:05 a.m.
A property on the 200 block of Brock Road was struck with eggs sometime overnight, and someone put mashed potatoes on the front lawn. Det. Cutcliff is investigating.

April 23 at 8:08 p.m.
A driver of a vehicle on Bishop Avenue struck another vehicle at Hawarden Road. The 42-year-old male from Drexel Hill was found to be intoxicated. The male was treated for injuries and submitted to a blood test. Charges for DUI are pending.
