SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter recently.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between June 26 and July 2.

June 26 at 3:41 p.m.
A 53-year-old male from Philadelphia was charged with Retail Theft after being stopped by Macy’s security at the mall for stealing over $170 worth of clothing.
June 28 at 2:55 p.m.
Officers responded to the Qdoba restaurant, 1000 block of Baltimore Pike, to investigate a disorderly subject. They learned that an ex-employee had gone to the store and threatened the manager over back pay owed. The male threatened to “blow up and shoot up the place.” Jarome Green, 43, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threats, Disorderly Conduct and other offenses and held for arraignment.

June 29 at 5:21 a.m.
Officers responded to a glass break alarm on the 200 block of Baltimore Pike. They found the business with a smashed front door. Several display cases were damaged inside, and a quantity of jewelry stolen. Det. McNeely is investigating.
June 30 at 7:03 a.m.
A resident of the 200 block of Fairview Road reported sometime overnight a Jaguar vehicle was stolen from the street. While officers were speaking to the owner, Wilmington, Delaware, police found the vehicle unoccupied in the city. Det. Cutcliff is investigating.
June 30 at 7:46 a.m.
Several unlocked vehicles were entered sometime overnight in the area of Kerr Lane, Snyder Lane, and Duncan Lane.
June 30 at 4:26 p.m.
Officers responded to Church Road Park for a report of a fight. They found a male had stopped at the park and approached his wife and another male. He began to fight with the other male and threatened the male. Officers took the male, 36 years old from Prospect Park, into custody and found a firearm inside his vehicle. He will be charged with Threats, Assault, and firearms violations.
July 1 at 5:23 a.m.
A business on the 1100 block of Baltimore Pike was broken into by someone cutting the lock on the front door. Numerous cell phones and tablets were stolen from inside. Det. Cutcliff is investigating.
July 1 at 6:53 a.m.
Several unlocked vehicles were entered sometime overnight in the area of Weymouth Road, Northcroft Road and Kirk Drive.
July 2 at 6:06 p.m.
A 37-year-old male from Secane was taken into custody after being observed by police staggering with no shoes on his feet on the 500 block of Baltimore Pike. He was found to be intoxicated on methamphetamine and taken into custody. The male was found to have an active arrest warrant from Delaware County and was turned over to constables.
