SPRINGFIELD, PA – Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Jan. 9 and Jan. 13.

Jan. 9 at 6:16 p.m.
Macy’s security at the mall reported three male subjects were stealing over $800 worth of jackets from display. Upon arrival of police, the males fled through the parking lot on foot. One was caught near Target and two were located and apprehended nearby in Swarthmore Borough. All three males were identified and taken into custody. Two adults, from Lansdowne and Darby, were held for arraignment on retail theft charges. The third male, a juvenile from Yeadon, was released to family. He will be charged with Retail Theft.
Jan. 10 at 10:59 a.m.
A parked vehicle on the 500 block of Philmar Court was vandalized with eggs and cigarette butts and ashes dumped on the front windshield.

Jan. 12 at 10:30 a.m.
A 41-year-old female from Springfield will be charged with Public Drunkenness after passing out and going unconscious inside the Springfield Diner. She was found intoxicated and provided medical care and transported to a hospital.
Jan. 12 at 6:02 p.m.
A resident of the unit block of Saxer Avenue reported a vehicle stopped in front of his house, and someone from inside shot paintballs at the house.
Jan. 13 at 9:29 p.m.
A resident called to report a pickup truck driving on the property of Scenic Hills School. The truck was not located, but turf damage was found on the grass near the basketball courts.
