SPRINGFIELD, PA — A longtime member of the Springfield Township Police Department too his last radio call as he enters retirement.

Officer Joseph Prendergast took his last call before hanging up his badge after a long career in law enforcement.

Prendergast finished his last shift on Tuesday, Aug. 27 with 39 years in law enforcement under his held.
