I offer guitar lessons in the Springfield/Swarthmore area.

Delco Guitar Studios

I teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons in person close to Springfield and Swarthmore. I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and have experience teaching all ages of students. I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people. My teaching space is located at 34 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA. Contact me for more information or to set up a free trial lesson! I will be starting a new group guitar class on April 20th! This class will run for 6 sessions over the course of 7 weeks on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The focus of this class will be on teaching song melodies to beginners, such as Ode To Joy by Beethoven and Happy Birthday. Each week I will introduce slightly more complicated melodies that will help develop students' ability to play single note melodies on the guitar.

CHESTER, PA — A woman has been missing for several weeks, according to Chester Police. Kortney Staples's family last saw her on July 11 and reported her missing a week later, police said. Police <a href="https://crimewatch.net/us/pa/delaware/city-of-chester-pd/303693/cases/missing-person" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">described Staples</a> as a 33-year-old Black woman who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a yellow shirt with Donald Duck on the front. Staples drives a gray Nissan Altima with an MGH-1012 registration plate, police said. The car has rear, driver's-side bumper damage, and the passenger-side mirror is missing. Anyone who sees Staples or her vehicle is urged to immediately call the Chester Police Department at 610-447-8424.
