• Steven Mukum '26 to Explore Human Displacement Across Five Countries as Watson Fellow (swarthmore.edu) — A Swarthmore College senior, Steven Mukum ’26, has earned a prestigious Watson Fellowship to study how internally displaced people and climate refugees seek visibility and agency across five countries. His project grows directly from research, civic work, and leadership he developed at Swarthmore, including support from the Lang Center and organizing the 2024 African is Rising symposium.
