• Taylor police: Man threatens young bicycle riders, drives recklessly (thetimes-tribune.com) — Taylor police say a driver nearly struck children riding bikes on West Taylor Street, then later ran from officers after being taken into custody. The man is accused of reckless driving, making threats, and driving under the influence, and remains jailed in Lackawanna County pending a June 11 hearing. 
• Taylor police: Man fled from officers, endangered others (thetimes-tribune.com) — Taylor police report that a speeding driver from Scranton allegedly fled a traffic stop on South Keyser Avenue, crossing into oncoming traffic through several borough streets. Officers say passengers were visibly upset as the chase ended on Laurel Lane, and the driver now faces charges and a June 10 hearing.
