PAOLI, PA — More than 80 men, women, and children sipped on tea and munched on tasty treats recently at the historic Waynesborough house to support the Children of American Revolution’s annual “Homes for Heros” 2023 project.

Guests at the Teddy Bear Tea fundraiser included members of the Japtha Abbott chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution based in Ardmore and the Great Valley chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The tea was in the house where Gen. Anthony Wayne resided during the Revolutionary War.

The "Home for Heros" project is to educate the public about the historical importance of Major General Anthony Wayne and the Edison 64 Veterans Multi-Service Center in Philadelphia.
