TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — With Chester County expected to move into the "yellow" phase of Gov. Tom Wolf's plan to reopen the state Friday, Tredyffrin Township is laying out guidelines on how it will operate under the "yellow" designation.

Starting Friday, all township parks will be open for walking/running and other forms of exercise while continuing to follow guidelines from Wolf, the Chester County Health Department, and the CDC. Tennis courts will also be open with users abiding by safety recommendations.

Those using the courts are urged not to share equipment or celebrate with high fives. Courts should be limited four players.

However, all other park facilities — such as restrooms, basketball courts, pavilions, water fountains, playground equipment — will remain closed. The closed areas of the parks will be phased in as the restrictions are lifted.

Libraries will remain closed but will begin be implementing a phased process to reinstate library services. For more information on the libraries plans to reopen. See here for more information on the libraries plans to reopen.
