A real answer to a need for business networking on the Upper Mainline
Here is a real opportunity to join a networking group that has a goal for its members to help each other succeed.
Obviously there must be a real need in the business community along Philadelphia's upper mainline, for a true and loyal business networking solution. Not just for those serving small business but ALL business development service providers. This is a new way to get clients.
Well on the mainline there is a unique group that has grown from startup in May to over 1700 presently. The online group is an exclusive membership for those who either live or work or own a business in the upper mainline areas from Bryn Mawr to Chester Springs and as far north as Phoenixville and as far south as Broomall. This group was initially created online using LinkedIn, the name of the group is called Upper Mainline Connections.
The purpose of the group is to promote its members from within the group. Based on the theory of the Seth Godins marketing rule of 1000. The rule's assumption is that IF people will work with others within their own circle of 1000 contacts and trade business with one another they will ALL flourish.

Face to Face Meetings
One of the unique features of the group is the ability to hold events locally for those in the group to attend and take their online relationships further toward doing business. UMLC held its first face to face event at the Landmark Americana in Strafford and over 140 attended. The event was so successful that an iPad was a door prize which was donated by sponsorships. A second event was held recently at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern with over 70 attending.

The success stories are plentiful with members doing business and picking up new clients they never thought they could because of their LinkedIn connection.
This is a group that every business owner should join and also send their sales people to join and participate in order to get the word out. Membership is free bust must be approved for entry into the group.
