Cleaning without chemicals: I can't stand the smell of vinegar any longer!

I've been perplexed lately, I understand that people are trying to go "green" per se, they drive their hybrids, shop at the organic supermarkets, and go to farm stands for produce. My perplexity comes in when I say to someone who is "green" that I use this product instead of my vinegar and baking soda mix for cleaning. They look at me funny and don't acknowledge it. I don't mind that they blow me off but, I believe in it so much that I've stopped using my stinky vinegar to clean.  

Sometime in October, I spilled apple cider onto the kitchen floor. I didn't grab paper towels or a mop, or cleaning solution- I grabbed my Norwex microfiber cloth. Why? Well, because the apple cider was so dense and sugary, the Norwex cloth allowed me to mop it all up in one swipe, then I rinsed it, and then cleaned the area to make sure all of the dense pulp came up. And guess what? It did! And, it left a nice shine on the floor! The cloths are made of microfiber which is woven with a micro silver, so the cloth self purifies constantly. The cloths are easy to rinse, easy to clean, and the cloth I'm talking about in this apple cider spill, it's actually a window polishing cloth but it works just like a paper towel. I haven't bought paper towels in a very long time!  Ever since a party demo in September, I began selling the cloths...but the "green" people look at me like I'm nuts? Like it's impossible to clean with water, but it's not! I also noticed my eczema went away just from using the cloths in my hands. That's kinda crazy!

There are so many reasons not to use chemicals in cleaning. I just read an article recently, a popular brand of infant laundry soap contaings carcinogens. It's never talked about! And the soap is labeled "free and clear" so it's misleading to begin with, but lab tests proved otherwise. We should protect our streams and water runoffs, our environment, our home, our kids and family from the toxic chemicals that are just a cabinet away. But do we? Oh well, maybe the green movement just isn't catching on around here? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
