Earth Day Saturday April 20th

This Saturday at Wilson Farm Park will will hold this years Earth Day celebration. This year we are bringing it to the Chesterbrook community.

Time is from 10 am until noon with the main gathering place at the pavilion near the rear entrance to the park next to the large flag pole.

All are invited to include children. Great Valley Nature Center will be bring some small animals for demonstration.

We will have demonstrations at various locations throughout the park during the morning. These events include:

• Tree Planting demonstration by Tree Vitalize
• Energy Survey by UGI
• Watershed Demonstrations by Green Valley Association
• Wilson Run Clean up by the Girl Scouts
• Vine Triming by Open Land Conservancy
• Rain Garden Demonstration by Valley Creek Restoration Partnership
• Compost demonstration by Tredyffrin Environmental Council
• Chesterbrook and Valley Creek Presentation

 It's all free and it should prove to be a learning experience for all.
