Don't fall victim to yet another telephone scam circulating in our area. People claiming to be "jury coordinators" call and tell you that a warrant has been issued for your arrest......the reason? "You failed to report for jury duty". They then ask for your Social Security number and date of birth to verify their info and cancel the arrest warrant.
Guess what gets cancelled? Your good credit!! These scam artisits use your Social Security number and DOB to steal your identity.
Never provide personal or financial information to anyone unless you are 100% sure it's legit.
