Back in 1974, German businessman, Oskar Schindler died. He was a member of the Nazi Party, but secretly prevented 1,200 Jews from being murdered.
Mr. Schindler, prevented his workers at his enamel-works factory from being sent to the Auschwitz labor camp where Jewish people were killed under Nazi Party orders.

Mr. Schindler’s good deeds would be made into a novel called, Schindler’s Ark by Thomas Keneally and later a Hollywood movie, Schindler’s List starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kinglsey and directed by Stephen Spielberg.

Musician Walter Murphy made a classic Beethoven instrumental a Disco hit back in 1976. The song, “A Fifth of Beethoven was featured in the movie, “Saturday Night Fever.”
According to history.com , “Follow-up disco singles by Walter Murphy based on works by Rimsky-Korsakov and George Gershwin failed to repeat the success of "A Fifth Of Beethoven." Murphy continues to have a successful career in commercial music, however, with his most recent significant credit coming as the composer of the theme song from television's animated series Family Guy.”
