Steve Jobs – A Pioneer of Computer Technology

Yesterday, the Co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs passed away after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 56.  Mr. Jobs was a pioneer of computer technology.  I would like to give a history of his successes that changed society for year to come.

According to the nytimes, Mr. Jobs, along with his cohorts created technological advances such as:

• The Macintosh Computer
• The Macintosh II Computer
• The Powerbook Computer
• Purchases Pixar Computer Animation Company
• Purchases Next Computer Operating Systems
• iMAC
• iBook
• Mac OS X Operating System
• MAC G4 Cube
• MAC Retail Stores
• IPod
• iPhone
• iPad

All of these technologies listed above have provided entertainment, research and education in most people’s lives.  I would like to take this time to acknowledge that Mr. Jobs was a visionary who changed the face of technology and will leave a legacy of technology that will be hard to emulate.
