T'was the Night Before Christmas Tree Lighting.....check it out this weekend!!

T’was the Night Berwyn Devon Tree Lighting…..this Sunday!

T’was the night before tree lighting and all through the town,

Families strung lights on their home to many Christmas sounds,

The wreaths were on doors, garland hung up with care,

In hopes that the judges soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of WINNER yard signs danced in their heads.

Last minutes touches of mistletoe and candlelight,

“Look at MY house, decorations are Out of Sight”!!

When Sunday does come there will be such a clatter,

Villagers gathering at the Train Station to see what does matter.

Dancers will dance with a twirl and a flash,

Choirs will sing, bringing festivities to the bash!

With a Maserati driver for Mrs. Claus and the fire truck just as quick,

We’ll know in an instant it must be St. Nick.

More fun yet to come, his escorts they came,

With a wave and shout, Santa may call you by name!

Hey Howard Fritz, Hey Malvern Fed, I brought Prancer but not Vixen!

Devon Vet is tuning up my reindeer, especially Blitzen!

To your roof tops I’ll come, in just 23 days,

But I’m here tonight to find out what everyone craves!

By tracks you will find, all kinds of goodies to eat,

Cheesecake bites by Sweet Jazmine, soups from Aneu, hard to beat,

Tom Toscani roasting hot dogs for a six pence or eight,

For many good charities, the proceeds we’ll donate!

Dress in your fur and your parka, from head to toe,

The gala starts around 5:30 and you know where to go!
