BERWYN, PA — The Tredyffrin Township Municipal Authority will start rehabbing the Station Avenue Sewer Pumping Station in mid September, meaning roads will close to accommodate the work.

On or around Monday, Sept. 16, the Tredyffrin Township Municipal Authority (TTMA) will begin rehabilitation at the station, located near Station Avenue and Branch Avenue in Berwyn.

It is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, the township said.

Branch Avenue will be temporarily closed to through-traffic for the duration of the project and TTMA’s contractor will be working in that area removing existing pumps and replacing the existing structures with a new structure and pumps.

This sewer pumping station is the oldest pumping station in TTMA’s inventory and is in need of repair and upgrade.
