Build A Storm With the Franklin Insitute At Easttown Library

Lightning, tornadoes, rain, hail and more. The Franklin Institute will show you how Mother Earth makes extreme weather.

The Franklin Institute is heading out of the city and onto the Main Line next week, as it will be presenting a show called How To Build A Storm at the Easttown Library.

At 7 p.m. on Oct. 10, the Franklin Institute will bring it's traveling science show to the library where attendees will see how extreme weather systems are formed, including topics such as the water cycle, thermodynamics, air masses, and fronts.

Some weather phenomenons in the show including making a cloud, creating snow, and diving into the science of thunder and lightning. The end of the show promises to be quite the display, as the last demonstration will show the power behind tornadoes.
