Car Bursts Into Flame Sunday In Tredyffrin Township

A car erupted in flames Sunday afternoon on Route 202, prompting the Berwyn Fire Company to leap into action.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – A car burst into flames Sunday afternoon in Tredyffrin Township, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.

The fire company said responded to southbound Route 202 near Route 422 in Tredyffrin Sunday at about 3:34 p.m.

Responders found the occupants got out of the vehicle safely when the arrived.

All southbound lanes in the area were shut down for about 25 minutes until a travel lane could be opened, the fire company said.
