Chesterbrook Academy in Wayne Gives Back for the Holiday Season

Chesterbrook Academy Preschool students learned the importance of helping those in need this holiday season

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Wayne recently partnered with the Phoenixville Police Station to provide stuffed bears for patients at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Students and their parents, as well as Chesterbrook Academy staff members, visited local Build-a-Bear Workshops to create the bears for children at CHOP.

To spread more holiday cheer, students handmade holiday cards for all 130 residents at the nursing home ManorCare Health Services-King of Prussia. Students also collected 418 diapers, one and a half cases of wipes, 20 baby blankets, 24 sippy cups, 35 bottles, 5 cans of formula, 1 case of baby food, and a breast pump for nonprofit organization Pamper and Diaper My Baby in Philadelphia. Through their efforts, students learned the importance of helping those in need.
