Conestoga Boys Lacrosse Continue Support of Our Troops
Conestoga Boys Lacrosse Team sends care packages to troops overseas

There’s something special about seeing a Philly favorite treat – the Tastykake - in the middle of the desert…
The Conestoga boys varsity lacrosse players continued with their “Comforts from Home” packages, begun last Spring and coordinated by Senior Tate Kienzle. Through this program the players donate toiletries, snacks, stamps, and other items to send to our troops overseas. The packages are sent to former Conestoga students and T/E community members. Kienzle summed up the team's feelings by saying that “these shipments from our team make a difference to the service men and women, which make a difference in the world.”
This fall, packages were sent to our troops serving in Norway, Iraq and Japan. They plan to continue the program with additional care packages in the winter and spring.
