Conestoga Crew Has Great Success at Scholastic Nationals

Four boats medal in Scholastic National Championships in Zanesville, Ohio.

On May 24th and 25th, Conestoga Crew competed in the SRAA National Scholastic Championships on Dillon Lake in Zanesville, Ohio.

Winning Gold was the Girls Lightweight Double of Annie Dudrear and Maggie Gosnear; the Girl's Varsity Quad of Natalia Bertolotti, Blair Kennedy, Victoria Budike, and Abigail Lewis; the Boy's Varsity Quad or Kale Wiley, Andrew McLellan, Max Harmon, and Brenton Molsbergen.

Winning Silver was the Boy's Varsity Double of Shane Connell and Cole Fogarty.

The Boys Freshman Quad earned a bid in the finals and finished in 6th: Jack Barausky, Alex Stern, Alex McLoughlin, and Will Riggs.

Other boats that qualified were the Girls’s JV Quad of Savanna Jacovini, Lily Bielinski, Ella Ottensman, and Annie Stuber and the Girl’s Freshman Quad of Serine Alp, Rachel Furtaw, Natalie Margossian, and Andie Erixxon. Also racing was the Boys’ JV Double of Ezra Toll and Lorenzo Caria.

There were 156 Clubs from around the United States and Canada with a combined 496 entries. Because of the Club's success at PSRA City Championships, the Club qualified 9 boats for this championship. Only 4 other clubs had more boats.
