Conestoga Students Win Production Award For Live Sports Coverage
Congratulations to TETV's sports team consisting of Cole Fogarty, Owen Cutler, Val Pucci, William Morrisette, and Thomas Zaffalon.

BERWYN, PA — A group of Conestoga High Schoolers recently were honored for their work in live sports reporting from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
On Tuesday, May 14, NATAS presented 21 awards to high school students in the region who are interested in pursuing careers in media and journalism.
Among the honorees was Conestoga High School.

NATAS presented the school's TETV Sports crew the award in the Sports - Live Event category.
The team consists of Cole Fogarty, Director; Owen Cutler, Graphics; Val Pucci, Graphics; William Morrisette, Replay; and Thomas Zaffalon, Color Commentator.

Now in its 17th year, NATAS Mid-Atlantic Chapter’s Student Production Awards recognize outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news, and informational achievements by high school students.
More than 200 students from high schools across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware attended the event held at Temple University.
“Every year, we are so impressed with the work submitted by high school students. Their passion for journalism and media is evident and we are happy to be able to give them an avenue to receive recognition for their creativity,” said Tara Faccenda, Executive Director of NATAS Mid-Atlantic. “Thank you to all the schools that entered their work for the Student Production Awards and congratulations to all the award recipients. We can’t wait to see where these students take their talents in the future.”
Awards were presented to the students by local media professionals. The awards were given to those with achievements in television in 16 categories.
All entries were judged by both college educators and media professionals from the Mid-Atlantic region.
All nominees receive individualized Academy certificates and each winning entry received a crystal award, engraved with the school information.
