Counterfeit Money, Thefts, Drugs, More: Tredyffrin Police Report

Police are looking into the use of a counterfeit $100 bill at Chipotle in the Gateway Shopping Center on May 25. See full details here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police released their most recent crime report on Thursday, May 31.

The report covers crime incidents in the township that occurred between May 10 and May 30.

Police dealt with counterfeit money, thefts, trespassing, underage drinking, and more.

  • TRESPASSING
    • May 10, Daylesford Lakes Community Pool – Police were dispatched to the report of several people swimming in the community pool which is locked after hours. Three individuals – a 19-year-old male from Berwyn, an 18-year-old female from Berwyn, and a 19-year-old female from Malvern were all charged with underage drinking and defiant trespass.
  • SIMPLE ASSAULT
    • May 18, Lancaster Avenue in Paoli – Police charged Anthony Gallo, 57, of Paoli, with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after he was involved in a domestic dispute.
  • POSSESSION
    • May 24, Rear of Gateway Shopping Center – Police charged the following individuals: Ashley Salamone, 27, of Audubon, with underage drinking; Alan Fraelich, 24, of East Norriton, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia; and Vinh Nguyen, 24, of Phoenixville, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
  • THEFT
    • May 24, Daylesford Boulevard in Berwyn – A resident reported two newly installed stop signs stolen from the intersection.
  • COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY
    • May 25, Chipotle Restaurant in Gateway Shopping Center – The store manager reported a customer tried to pay for their meal using a counterfeit $100 bill. The case is under investigation.
  • THEFT
    • May 30, 400 block of Cannon Court in Wayne – The victim reported their gym bag stolen from their porch. The bag contained an iPhone, SEPTA Pass, Beats headphones and Nike sneakers. The contents were valued at approximately $1,000.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway.

  • Cory Iverson, 33, of Bridgeport, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .108 percent and marijuana was present in his system.
  • Hugo Alberto Cabrera-Sagastegui, 23, of West Chester, PA – BAC was .104 percent
  • Allison Lambert, 37, of Scottsdale, AZ – BAC was .148 percent
